Hall of Heroes Museum
Talladega's Hall of Heroes Museum aspires to create a living, interactive learning experience through special events and exhibitions. The museum honors our service men and women in various exhibits across the state.
This was the website for me that launched them all! I was approached to quickly put something together as the museum was launched, essentially brought about by the community's desire to honor the veterans and first responders in the community. It was such an honor to be a part of this organization from the ground up.
The main web components I was able to bring to the Hall of Heroes were organizing their calendar events, highlighting featured artifacts in their museum, amping up their social media presence, and creating an online donation center to accept monetary donations to their organization through their new website.
I also created for them new business cards, flyers, brochures, and other marketing materials. One of the most fun aspects of this was organizing a scavenger hunt for children to find featured artifacts and uniforms in their museum. I also created templates to accept physical objects / photo submissions to the museum, as well as volunteer coordination material.
